A trauma-informed carer validates trauma, whether 'complex' or 'simple,' and seeks to assist survivors to overcome the debilitating and isolating effects of every kind of human trauma. God desires the entire pastoral care community to become the head, not the tail, in biblically trauma-informed pastoral care.'
