We are being discipled in the heavenly school of hesed. Hesed is the unfailing, loyal, covenantal devotion of our Father toward His children. Hesed became a central concept for King David. He bathed in the revelation and the experience of the Father’s hesed, and it became part of his transformational journey. In Psalm 23, he proclaimed, “Surely goodness and hesed shall follow me all the days of my life!” (Psalm 23:6). It was because of the Father’s great hesed that he could say, “He restores my soul!” (Psalm 23:3). In David’s inner world, those who marinate their hearts in the glory of hesed become ‘hasid.’ They are the ‘holy ones’ who have immersed their hearts in hesed until that revelation transforms them from the inside out. King David was tasked with stewarding the revelation of hesed. David and his famous Tabernacle became a prophetic type of the church where heaven’s hesed was celebrated. This series is a prophetic call to recover the lost mysteries of the Hasid of God.
